4 DIY Face Masks Made From Food

Hello Dear Beauties,
If you are having skin troubles and out of budget for expensive face masks then this is the place for you all. I will tell you 4 easy DIY Face Masks made from simple e things that you will find in your kitchen. I, myself, like to use the masks that I have made myself for two reasons, firstly, I like to use chemicals and chemicals containing products as less as I can and secondly this way is more affordable. Now we all have different skin types and therefore a different mask is needed for the skin type that you have. Well, worry not! I have a DIY mask for all of you.

1. The Avocado Mask

Now, if you have dry skin or dry to combination skin, this is the mask for you.
All you need is an avocado, 1 tbsp yogurt, 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp Olive Oil.
Add hydration back into rough, dry skin with this moisturizing mask. "The omega fatty acids in avocado and olive oil help seal cracks between skin cells," says Joshua Zeichner, the director of cosmetic and clinical research at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. And thanks to soothing ingredients, like honey and yogurt, your skin will feel incredibly soft and plump—if a little sticky. Just rinse well around the hairline.

2. The Oatmeal Mask

This mask is for the people who have Oily or Acne-Prone Skin.
All you need is 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal (cooled), 1 egg and 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

The acid in the lemon juice goes to work removing excess oil and dead skin cells (it's all those alpha hydroxy acids packed in there); meanwhile, the oatmeal soothes the skin and calms any patches of redness.

3. The Papaya Mask

This mask is for people who have Dull to Normal Skin. If you have skin that is loosing its shine or you just want a refreshing face mask as a part of your facial routine then this is the right mask for you.
All you will need is 1/2 cup mashed papaya, 1 teaspoon honey and 1 whipped egg white

If you're searching for a brighter, more glowing complexion—and why wouldn't you be?—try this baby. The enzymes in the papaya are a natural exfoliator, so they go to work sloughing off dead skin cells, while the honey and egg white bind the mask together.

4. The Cucumber Mask

Not all of us can or have the time to do a 7-step facial care routine everyday or mostly some of you are lazy, like me. So what happens is after some days, your skin starts to get patchy and rough. You start noticing flakes and blemishes and pimples and WHATNOT!

Well, I have a simple face mask for all of you who are like me!
All you need is, 1/2 cucumber, pureed in a food processor or whatever substitute method you have, 1/4 cup milk, 1 tablespoon honey and 1 tablespoon brown sugar.
It is cooling, reduces redness, and smells so good that you will feel—for a moment—like you're in a spa, not your kitchen. This mask exfoliates gently and leaves the skin noticeably softer after just one use.
