5 DIY Hair Masks

Winter has arrived and so has the hair problems with it. Soon or later, you will start noticing more dandruff, more hair-fall, split-ends and WHATNOT!
But WORRY NOT! I am here to save your holidays from bad hair. All you have to do is follow the steps that you think are compatible with your hair and its texture or type. I have the solution for your problems and for every hair type.

1. Avocado Mask For Dry Hair

The most common problem that you will face nowadays is dry hair. The only things that you will need are 1 avocado, 1 Banana and 1 tbsp Jojoba Oil. Mix all the ingredients well and apply the paste on your hair for 1 hour. Apply this 2-3 times a week for evident results.

Avocado oil helps rejuvenate and moisturize the scalp. A rich source of proteins, amino acids and vitamins, avocado helps soothe the scalp and promotes long, strong, healthy hair growth. Bananas are rich in potassium, natural oils, carbohydrates and vitamins, which help soften the hair and protect the hair's natural elasticity, preventing split ends and breakage. Jojoba is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin E, copper, and zinc. Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness.

2. Mayo Mask For Rough Hair

You can get rough hair even if its winter or not. You can get dry hair from sun's exposure, smoke and WHATNOT! All you need is 1 cup Mayo, 2 tbsp Raw Honey, and 2 raw eggs. Mix all of them and apply the paste on your hair. Leave for 45 mins and wash your hair using your regular shampoo. Apply this 2-3 times a week for evident results.

Mayonnaise contains egg yolks, vinegar, and oils that work together to nourish and moisturize your hair. The presence of L-cysteine, an amino acid, in mayonnaise helps it nourish your scalp to promote healthy hair growth. Egg yolks are rich in fatty acids which can lend moisture to the skin while the egg whites contain albumin, a simple form of protein that helps tighten pores and also remove excessive oil. Honey has rich antioxidant properties which prevent damage, keeping your scalp and hair healthy.

3. Strawberries Mask For Oily Hair

If you have oily hair and are fed up of it then I have the perfect hair mask for you. All you need is 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar, 2 tbsp Jojoba Oil and 4 Strawberries. Mash the strawberries and mix all the ingredients. Apply the mask on your hair, leave for 45 mins and wash. Apply this 2-3 times a week for evident results.

Apple cider vinegar is praised for being rich in vitamins and minerals good for hair, like vitamin C and B. Jojoba oil helps to control the sebum excretion in the scalp. It regulates the flow of sebum in the clogged pores and balances the amount of oil in your hair. Strawberries are packed with vitamin C which is helpful in nourishing the hair, and they also have the ability to get rid of any excess oil buildup from your scalp.

4. Yogurt Mask For Hair Dandruff

Having flaky shoulders? or afraid people might see your snowflakes falling from your scalp?
All you need is 1/2 cup Yogurt, 1 tbsp Baking Soda and 4 Strawberries. Mash the strawberries and mix all the ingredients well. Apply the paste for 45 mins and wash your hair. Apply this 2-3 times a week for evident results.

Strawberries are good for your hair. The antioxidant properties of strawberries keep your hair moisturized and protect the cell membranes.  Natural yogurt is full of protein that offers nourishment, which the hair needs for proper growth and health.

5. Egg Mask For Combination Hair

If you have combination hair and they are running out of color and shine then this the mask for you. All you need is 2 tbsp Raw Honey, 1/4 Apple Cider Vinegar and 2 Eggs. Mix all the ingredients and apply the paste on your hair for 45 mins, then wash. Apply this 2-3 times a week for evident results.

Honey strengthens the hair follicles, curbing hair fall. Honey also comprises antibacterial and antiseptic qualities. Apple Cider Vinegar has anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties help combating scalp infections, dryness, itchiness and dandruff. Egg yolk is rich in the vitamins that may make hair more resistant to damage. The yolk may be especially useful to moisturize hair that appears dry.
